This name refers to different figures in 2 worlds; the versions are not merged.

Cakravartin is the lord of the cosmic wheel: in Antiterra, a universal monarch and guardian of Atlantis, now a blue child growing from a lotus in a demiplane; in Vala, a single being living through successive reincarnations.

Antiterra

Description

His birth in Celefais was “the first birth in many eons”; he was taken from the city to grow. First a child growing from a lotus, he later appears as a lapis-lazuli-blue adolescent in white tulles, holding a lotus and a spinning disc. He now sleeps in the demiplane “in a kind of seed being built there”, within a camp with a council tent and his own wagon “that has a cabo de los sentidos” (“cape of the senses”).

His emblem is “a wheel, a circle, and one more circle, like a ring”, also carved on a throne. As Bodhisattva of the universal wheel he heads the cycle of the Dharma, the one “who came to save them all”. Kings submit because “by virtue of his moral superiority his offer is irresistible”. In the record of his imperial form, his march “is pursued by a system of wheels that produces the symbol”, the kings’ diamonds are reflected in his toenails, and he “leads his army to the farthest horizon”.

Atlantis and the platforms

He was guardian of Atlantis, king of the first sunken land, and from Atlantia makes his invocation to the sages. Year 136 of his reign under Atlantis coincides with year 363 of Ra. The bronze of Atlantis “was supposed to help” him. He guards the Pisces platform and oversees the game of the zodiacal platforms.

Role

  • He, not Tabú nor the Lumbre (avatar of Jock Sotot), opened the gate out of the demiplane.
  • He tells visitors what is happening in the world, including the consequences of Antiterra’s destruction.
  • At the Carnival of Venice he is “the other organizer”, handling politics and the creation of a refuge world with the Regulators.

He is not omniscient. When his guardians were cast out of the Plane of Dreams, they sacrificed his dreams in exchange for the book. A prophecy holds that if the child is baptized, he “will be able to explain the end of the wheel”.

Doubles and counterparts

  • His dark double is the Great Khan of Nightmares, on another plane.
  • His counterpoint is Buddha, the universal monarch; the Cakravartin is “a mark of the world”.
  • He is listed among invocable powers with the Aesir, Olympians, Kami and Divas, and among possible allies with Erzsebet, Lucifer and los pibes (“the kids”).

Conflicting accounts

  • One voice says “Cajabartin was the king of Atlantis” and retracts it in the same sentence.
  • He sleeps in a seed under construction, yet was also killed: “Did you kill the Cracavartin? Yes, the guardian.” Two incarnations, two moments or mutually exclusive versions: unresolved.

Open questions

  • Whether the one born in Celefais, the blue child and “little Matt” of the baptism prophecy are one entity, and how he relates to the guardian of Atlantis.
  • What “has not been saved” means of him.
  • What the bronze’s help and the “system of wheels” were.
  • What losing his dreams left him.
  • Who can baptize him, and by what rite.
  • When the seed will be complete, and who is building it.

Vala

Nature

In Vala he is “the lord of the wheel”, who handles the wheel of the Dharma from its center. There is only one Cakravartin; what multiply are his lives. He is compared to beings of India who “started over many times, like Krishna”: half Deva, not Deva.

History

A humble gardener named sacrificial king, he rose to bodhisattva; this ties him to The Gardener, his origin and incarnation. Fated to perish for failing to save one or two earlier worlds, he perished and was reborn by choice — “And I perished, but here I was reborn, because I believe in reincarnation” — to try to save this world. He returned diminished, the “broken Cakravartin”: “it was something much more evolved and now it is un aceta más tranca” (unglossed).

Description

He appears “in his calmest, most dimmed form as Bodhisattva”, with silver eyes like those of another being with him “on the side of the tree of life”; the two share “a possibility of union of consciousness” but “are still separated”. In his evolved manifestation the spark of the silver dragons arises in him and “two wings half of silver” open. His own signs identify him in his absence. His celestial form, the constellation of Cakravartin, is entering eclipse at the recorded moment, coinciding with Mercury retrograde.

He keeps and hands over the Morphic Magic Objects; the Wordbreakers receive them from him as a final legacy, not a loan.

Conflicting accounts

  • He is the condemned, diminished “broken Cakravartin”.
  • He is also “the Cakravartin, who has also evolved”, with dragon spark and silver wings. Which comes first is not fixed.

Open questions

  • Who the other silver-eyed being is, and what a completed union would imply.
  • What the signs are for, and what his recorded link to the Dual King is.
  • Where his incarnate body is, and who can reach it.
  • Who condemned him, and under what authority.
  • How many Morphic Objects he has given, and whether more remain.
