Description
The plan: “El poder del Altísimo, una última cruzada de la que él es profeta, el Mahadi.” (“The power of the Most High, a last crusade of which he is the prophet, the Mahadi.“) In desert theologies the Mahdi is the redeemer who precedes the Judgment.
Precedent: Muhammad Ahmad, the Mahdi of Sudan, whose state fell at Omdurman three years earlier — the years also of Adwa, the first Pan-African congress in London and the Boxer rebellion.
The program
- Rousing the peoples subjected by the empires, African and Arab, to religious war.
- A total crusade against gods and their pawns, angels and devils, including the Abyss, his own peers.
This completes the stance of his Axumite phase as GRDT, when he declared himself allógene (alien, of the luminous world): the Most High is the source; the demiurges are the enemies.
The Mahdi is the fifth vector of the plan, alongside the Sentinelas, the Tablets, the regeneration of Vala, and the chain of sword, glabrezu and Valerius. Those are safeguards; the Mahdi is the offensive, smashing the corrupt world on the tripod of the Ships of Chaos as an offering.
End of Antiterra campaign (CFA)
Here he looks more like an ally than a mask of Graz’zt; the tension is unresolved.
- He seeks to be second guardian of the Platform of Libra beside Billy Jean, heir to the guardianship after killing the Fever; to transfer it he imbues four weapons, with the solar barque of Ra.
- He gives the Sword of the Prophet to La Plume “to bring down the fever”. His dragoman is Salim Nassif.
- It also spells the name “El Madi”.
