Lucifer is the first of the fallen, whose fall created Hell. In Antiterra he is building a new world for its refugees while seeking to retake Hell; in Vala he is the demiurge who carries the world’s key.

In Antiterra
Fall and rivalry
He fell from God “out of an act of love”, before Asmodeus existed, and his descent created all of Hell. He bows only before God. Asmodeus defeated him and holds his place, but Lucifer “still exists” in Hell, where he “finds the place where no one can see him, for when he has to come out and act”. His new world “will be the inversion of Asmodeus”.
Manifestations
No bodily description is recorded. Statues of him “as love”, with attributes of love or beauty, stand in Venice. He has a helmet and an “aura of Lucifer” that can be evoked or carried. He can manifest directly: “Lucifer manifested here and spoke. The magic could simply be crossed and permeated.” One of his avatars was defeated, and he “lost power”.
The new world and the deal
He is building “a whole new solar system”, with planets and a sun, but only matter and energy: “the living you will bring”. He can move people “from Antiterra to the new primary”, and the fate of “all the refugees” depends on it. Two primordial demons (two primordial devils) and a good serpent live there now. The world “will collapse within two months”; meanwhile “Lucifer’s plan is under way. Nothing needs to be done.”
The deal is fulfilled when he creates the primary for the Antiterrans; only then do they give him the access.
His main aim is “to take Hell”. His daughters are “a key part of taking the levels”, for bargaining with the dukes and pairing with archdukes. They are in another’s custody, and he presses the Regulators to help recover them: “let yourselves be captured… if you don’t give me time, I’ll eliminate you”. He boasted to them of what happened “after Paris”.
Limits
He cannot enter certain rituals “by his nature”; he delegates and pays in deferred favors (“I’ll do him a second favor and then we’ll discuss the color of the sea”). Bronzo, the bronze dragon, “is there but bound by Lucifer”.
Conflicting accounts
- As benefactor: he “does accept refugees in the world” and keeps his side of the deal.
- As enemy: he wants to hollow out the bronze egg “and inside build a world and kill it and corrupt it forever with the Perfidy of one Lucifer”.
Open questions
- How many daughters there are; what the Children of Lucifer, mentioned once after destructive events, are.
- Details of the Venetian statues; what the helmet does; what the aura is.
- Which rituals are barred to him; what happened “after Paris”; what access word or method only he knows (from a degraded note).
- Why the world will collapse in two months; what the good serpent is.
- Whether he is “the third cell” in the cosmic triangle with Arian, Sisi and the Akashic records, or that place belongs to the Lady of Pain.
In Vala
Lucifer is the demiurge of Vala: architect of heaven, fallen, king of all the evil demons, “the Lord, the Master of Hell”, owner of the whole world and “the last and brightest of the sovereigns of Hell”. He is one; there is no other. His power “binds this world”.
He “is the only one who always carries a key hanging between his breasts”: the key to the condensed cosmos, in which humans “do not yet have the freedom of free will”. No other feature is recorded.
The fall
A rebellion in heaven by him and his followers took place before man sinned. He fought and fell; the earth shifted and left “the hole of Hell”: “Hell is the earth that shifts when Lucifer falls.” The pit “was built for him”. He became sovereign of Hell, was the first thing to enter this world, and remained demiurge of a universe.
He won the throne “in the competition against Mordeo”, engendering ever more followers (“an excessive risk”) and joining “before an unknown and dark force” to form a trinity with it.
Deals
- He “offered the possibility of being kept in a universe that lay among some gems”.
- He used “annual magic” to save people destined to die.
- He is “creator or first transmigrator of souls, with a little knowledge of dual magic”.
- There is “the game of Lucifer”, which one plays or refuses.
The world’s central question: “What binds this world to Lucifer’s power? How to rescue the world from Lucifer’s clutches?”
Places
Hell, “the kingdom of Lucifer” (a place one travels to) and the hole of his fall may be one, two or three sites. An ancient prison may have held him; this is unconfirmed.
Arian
Arian refuses to identify with him: “I do not identify because I could not be him yet. Why should I be the brightest if I am here as barely a serpent?” Whether this is real separation or feigned denial is open.
Conflicting accounts
- “They gave him a universe”, as payment or gift.
- Lucifer created Vala in crystal.
Open questions
- Who Mordeo is; who forms the trinity, and whether before or after the fall.
- What “annual magic” (a damaged term) is, and its relation to dual magic; the rules of the game.
- Who destroyed “the bull of Lucifer”, and what was lost.
