Soliman (Solomon) is a vice admiral of the Great Khan. He greets the group in a lake region amid a military presence from a recent pirate attack; a dragon-shaped ship is sighted among the vessels. The strategy discussed is whether to take the main island or open a way by the alternative river routes.
At the end of Invisible Cities, Graz’zt reveals that the Khan is his rebelled servant, a two-headed splitting of the chaos that seized Mecanus. Soliman is one of the Khan’s two faces: in the dark recap of Auro he appears as the Khan himself. The Khan is the dark double of the Cakravartin.
