Description
His amplified tin guitar releases thunder (Storm Burst) and gives his companions courage. A griot, anarchist and “companion of freedom”, he heals with hands that emanate white energy. He served in the 10th Cavalry of the Buffalo Soldiers at Fort Clark, and came to the group as Big Bull’s emissary.
History
At sea his wish, a pact with the genie Marina, sank La Londra. At the Atlantean audience he played “Born Under a Bad Sign”, and the Cakravartin threatened to burn his guitar through Bronzo; the Cakravartin also spoke of the troubled Mississippi, where Stormy had friends.
He died on the Mexican side of the river, in the pit of the uprooted tree, seeking the Atlantean chest: hypnotized by the dragon’s voice, struck by Oximec’s lightning and buried by the collapse, then ambushed by Arriano, who cut off his leg. The group devoted the wish-granting chest to his return, but his spirit had to accept, and he did not come back. Ariel turned Arriano into a rabbit and fed him to a magic bag.
The group gave his guitar to Big Bull, who held a barbecue in his honor; the delta journey to Baton Rouge was made in his memory. Rudolf joined the group after his death.
