The Helm of Asmodeus is the helm of the lord of the Nine Hells, the war crown of Asmodeus.
When the twenty-fifth sun offered the companions “whatever you want from the multiverse”, they chose this helm. They left it at the gate of Buckingham Palace, exactly where its owner was waiting for them.
From then on the object passes from hand to hand, and each bearer walks with it into a bigger trap than the last. Oratiol carried it in the days of Infernal London; from Lotario it passed to Lucifer in the final stretch. Its appearances run from the gift of the twenty-fifth sun to the end of Infernal London.
