Ritornello is a ruined trade town in the valley of Ardis Vala, destroyed fifteen years ago by the explosion of the “egg of Ritornello”. The short route from Caladan Castle passes through it.

History
Ritornello was a growing road and market town of about three thousand people and the hub of the valley’s traffic, with a temple, an abbey and an abbot.
Fifteen years ago the egg of Ritornello, a weapon of mass destruction “taken from the weapons module”, exploded and wiped out the population and the whole commercial center. The event is called “the ashes affair”, and the valley dates its years from it. The probability that trolls were responsible is estimated at 82 percent; no one claimed the attack and no one was convicted.
Description
The surface is “Ground Zero”. Below lies a deep level some call the city of the elevator, reached and left only by expedition; the explosion left it accessible. The abbot, if still alive, could confirm what happened. The abbey, the town and Arcillón are distinct places.
