Stejara (also Sharra or Shara) is the home village of Los Condenados, a Ravenloft version of Oakhurst inside a domain closed by mist. It is the same setting as Estellara and Valdemora of Ardis Vala, seen from another chronicle.

Description
Once prosperous, now barely alive: dirt streets, the Gray Boar inn, a shabby store, a temple with a split tower, a smell of old ash. Beyond, a ravine breathes warm vapor reeking of rotten fruit and dried blood: the entrance to the Sunken Citadel. There the Troll Elf (Kerbog Khan) was rescued from room 12.
Inhabitants
- Mirela Vălcan, tearless mother of the missing Dragoș Vălcan and Luminița Hucrele; she offers 125 gold coins per recovered signet ring or living child.
- Vasile, the innkeeper, who knows more than he says, including the goblins’ yearly solstice apples.
- Baba Ileana, herbalist whose garden grows gray: “What grows down there is not a plant. It is a mouth.”
- Petre the Tall, the only trader who comes and goes.
- Belac, outlawed druid of the Gulthias Tree, the antagonist below.
Counterparts in Ardis Vala
Mirela Vălcan = Mirela Valka; Dragoș and Luminița = Dracos and Luminita; Vasile = Fierro of Estellara; Baba Ileana = Baba Iliana, binder of prophecies; the ravine = the Sunless Citadel (sunken castle of Decio Balmora) and the entrance to the Palace of the Prism; Stejara = Estellara and Valdemora merged. The domain is probably that of Ravenloft in Ardis Vala, or its twin.
Conflicting accounts
- Local tradition: 30 years ago, in then Ardis Vala territory, “a weapon destroyed the carbon bonds”.
- Ardis Vala: 15 years ago came “the ashes”, and Ritornello was razed.
- They may be two events, or one seen from two times.
