The Workshops of Kerbog Khan (Talleres de Kerbog Khan) are sublevel laboratories in the Ardis Vala Mega-Dungeon, where Kerbog Khan (originally Cerbactos Kalthetos) produces living automata linked to the Arcanum.

Production
- Basic dragonfly automata: flying scouts, fast and hard to hit, roaming patternlessly through many levels.
- Basic exploration automata: scouts.
- Greater automata: guardians of the workshop.
- Armed dragonfly: the variant carrying the bomb egg, the one that razed Ritornello fifteen years ago.
The weapon is the bomb that undoes carbon bonds. Kerbog Khan obtained its recipe and integrated it into the production of armed dragonflies. He trades, cooperates or competes with the AI of the weapons module, RAJ-750; both lines are linked to the cosmological Beacon.

- Varumani: a Varumani crystal device. The link ended with the Defeat of the Varumani.
- Priscians: rivals, a magical competition.
Connections
Tunnels lead to the Forum of Set; to the Obsidian Gates, by the water tunnel; and to the Trolls’ Elevators.
After the crystallization
After the Crystallization of the Machines, existing automata degrade within weeks (a rule of the Valakhan of the Mist domain). Kerbog Khan took refuge in Ravenloft as “the Troll Elf”.
Open questions
- After the Hiatus the workshops may be abandoned, looted or taken by another faction.
