Description
His nobility is hereditary and was recognized in a ceremony, with Moni beside him in the same condition: «Philippe obviamente hereditario» (“Philippe, obviously hereditary”). He is one of the founders of Paris under the uchronic regime, and his name is tied to its government: “thanks to the uchrony the government of Paris is now active”.
He “has known how to listen to and channel the voice of Kronamon”. He “remained the favorite of the Horseman of War”, and the records specify this was “his own doing”.
Equipment
- “Philippe’s little ring”, magical and unique in the records.
- Magic feathers of limited duration that let him fly and scout, as when searching a shipwreck for sailors.
- In the flare episode he asks for the launcher, fires it and tells the others where to aim.
History
In Ephesus he entered a voluntary deep sleep, the state of “sleeping beauty”; an expedition had to go and fetch him. He travels on the train, where it was said that “destiny is pleased with Philippe”.
Open questions
- From whom he inherits; how many founders Paris had and what office he holds.
- What the favor of the Horseman obliges and grants; whether it and Kronamon’s voice are one channel or two.
- What the ring does; where the feathers come from and how long each lasts.
- Who put him to sleep, for how long, and who woke him; the order of founding, sleep, favor and awakening.
- Whether “Filipa”, a name also recorded, is Philippe or a third person.
