Natalia Petrovna (Natasha) is a high-born vampire of Uchronic Paris, visible leader of the Circle of the Serpent in Bucharest and wife of Colonel Apis, also a vampirized Serbian officer.

Description

She lives at her mansion in the suburbs of Bucharest, among black velvet and scarlet candelabra. She is elegant, with marble skin and vampire fangs. Her powers: hypnotic domination (she enthralled André Bar), attacking with her fangs, and turning into mist.

History

Though hostess, she stayed absent until a dramatic entrance to the midnight ceremony, drying herself off from a light rain. She officiated a Black Mass with children dressed as bridegrooms, sacrilegious chalices, and the intent of a “ritual marriage” or sacrifice.

The Time Bandits fought her in the main hall. She tried to bite Claude Nauge, who struck her with a wrench; Corvino cast spells; Philip hit her with at least two magic bullets. She fled as mist to the cellar, where the Time Bandits found her, badly wounded, in her coffin. Claude drove an improvised stake through her heart. Corvino and Aby carried out the anti-vampire protocol: beheading, holy water, Orthodox rite. A local priest was bribed for a discreet funeral.

Her death was a local victory but did not end the Circle: Apis remains in Belgrade and other cells stay active.
