Description

An aristocratic upstart, bisexual or ambiguous, chaotic and easily manipulated, with no documented supernatural ability. He is the son or ward of an aristocrat and nominally in the custody of Bandy, his lover. The Circle may aim to kill Bandy, steer Vivescu into the inheritance, use him to force Estela to release serpentine entities, or act against the Serbian monarchy. He wants to escape the Circle.

History

At the Grand Hotel de Paris, Philippe seduces him and draws out the promises “the Serpent” made him. On the Orient Express the Time Bandits guard him under a ministerial contract while the Circle pursues him; they cross the German border on a locomotive. In Bucharest he learns Bandy has been murdered and takes up the inheritance. During the raid on the mansion of Natalia Petrovna, vampire leader of the Circle there, a corrupt priest nearly shoots him; Philippe and Aby save him.

The group debates the money: Claude and the revolutionaries want to fund a workers’ insurrection; others prefer the ministerial contract.
