Protective Scarab is a magical artifact of Uchronic Paris, held by Philippe. It grants protection twelve times against magical effects, death effects included.
It was activated in the fight against the psychopomp dragon to shield Philippe from lethal spells. Its scarab iconography suggests a possible Egyptian-Uchronic origin.
