Description

He travels with a very expensive guitar, two bags, a helmet and a cat that must be given water; no arsenal, few enchanted garments. His former Mithril armor is gone; he wears black shirt and trousers, buckled Oxfords, the black fur coat that once covered the armor, a dark purple cape, and perfectly kept boots from the year 1200, perhaps of magical leather. His hair is “like the color of a red lion”; his look “neo-Gothic but elegant”. His eyes leave “a faint trail of color that goes out when he looks at you”.

He is usually found in the air, “like a morcego” (bat). He has been seen levitating over a crane bridge during a fight, and flying alongside a captain.

Abilities

  • Eye of Lotario: from the outer corner of a place he “watches like an eagle’s eye”, detecting the invisible over one block square.
  • Longevity: he ages much more slowly than humans, attributed to his agathion lineage, “a being of Nirvana, at some point”.

History

Before Constable Schutt he gave his surname, Schottland, and his office of US Marshal; his declared occupation is hunting dragons.

Gideon, Lotario and others made a pact with Asmodeus; through it Lotario remains in Antiterra under the prince’s direct will. His life line is in conflict; he was captured with Oratiol, of whom it was said “Lotario or Oratiol, which is almost the same”. When he was missing from a final scene, his absence was spoken aloud: “the notary isn’t here”.

Love and Time

“Lotario is Love, of the Land of the Journey, of the three words, and Time.” The prophecy he received: “as much as love can unite, love can separate, or love can be screwed”.

Open questions

  • What the forehead gem is and where it came from; whether the Eye is an artifact, a spell or a gift.
  • How the badge and the dragon hunt relate; for whom he hunts.
  • His relation to Oratiol; the terms of the pact.
  • What “the model’s helmet” is; what the guitar is.
  • How the three words, the Land of the Journey and Time connect.
