The Carolingians (Carolingia) are a family or lineage of which the Archive preserves little more than the name, which refers to the old imperial line of the Carolingians.
Possible kinships
The Archive’s genealogists note possible kinships, none yet sealed by a document: some filiation with the Eternal Reich and a branch shared with the house of Habsburg.
Onomastic trace
The firmer trace is onomastic: Lotario, the god of love of Celestial lineage, bears a name from the Carolingian repertoire.
