The Guardians were powerful beings active in Antiterra until their death in 1901. They were important in the 1880s, the “years of vertigo” of the Belle Époque, and left temporal traces after dying.
Their death marks the break that separates Terra and Antiterra, freeing Antiterra from English domination. It coincides with the Gem of Wishes, the Regulators, La Jabalina and the political restructuring of Antiterra.
They were ambiguous powers; some tried to worship them (torco pulenta, a relic or cult object).
