Arcacto, the Great Ram of fire, is the god who guards the western, fiery half of the First Platform of the Dual Universe in Torregrises. He is one of its two Guardians; the eastern half of ice and snow belongs to the Snow Queen.

Description
On the rim of an extinct volcano: a heavily muscled human body with a ram’s head, coiled horns, yellow eyes, and a curved scimitar in the right hand. At his feet, a low stone altar carved with his seal bears the Gem of Creation, a small, lit, breathing golden grain. Behind lie the crater, a barren plain and smoking lesser cones.
Rule
Between the two halves, the Band of the Dissolution forbids direct contact on pain of cosmogony. Arcacto rules with heavy violence, tending the center and leaving famine, drought and unrest in remote districts unattended. Disloyal subjects are “gored personally”, by scimitar or horn.
Ambition and trials
He wants to cross the Band, end the Queen and the duality, and bring the next universe; but if the western guardian crosses, half the cosmos collapses. So he tests extraplanar travelers with missions and military ranks, seeking a replacement. None has passed every test.
Prophecy
“Cuando estas tierras del fuego sean inundadas por Agua, y los dos guardianes se junten, la Gema de la Creación estallará y dará lugar a un Universo nuevo.”
(“When these lands of fire are flooded by Water and the two guardians meet, the Gem of Creation will burst and give rise to a new Universe.“) Both guardians respect it; no traveler has fulfilled it.
