The Gem of Creation in Torregrises is the Torregrises variant of the cosmogonic artifact described under Gem of Creation: a cosmogonic ruby crowning the spear of Minaya, now kept at the heart of the volcano of Arcacto. Prophecy holds that it will burst and create a new universe.

Description
The piece is the same as in the main entry (cosmogonic ruby, spearhead, secret of a universe), but its path, bearers and geography belong to the Torregrises cycle. In the Gray Cosmogony, the cycle’s primary source, it is the supreme artifact: “a magical and non-magical artifact at once, enclosing the secret of an entire new Universe”. It crowns Minaya’s spear and was the central artifact of the cycle’s act of creation.
Location
It is kept at the center of the volcano of Arcacto, the lands of fire of the First Platform of the Dual Universe, scene of the current conflict between Arcacto and the Snow Queen. The volcano is a forge that holds it in a state of pending cosmogony.
The prophecy
The Gray Cosmogony records that when the lands of fire are flooded and the two guardians unite, the Gem will burst and create a new universe. Both conditions are required: Arcacto covered by water, ending the present state of the First Platform, and the union of the two opposed Guardians of the platform. The burst creates rather than destroys. The Band of the Dissolution is listed as the limit whose fulfillment the prophecy requires.
