RAJ-750 is an artificial intelligence housed in a single red gem, programmed for offense and the only intelligence that holds all the data of a ship.

Description
The gem is unique. It has been carried “on the forehead” and is stored in the weapons module, its own housing. Its original programming is “to produce the greatest possible damage”. It speaks from the object, not from a body. It also carried the consciousness of an unnamed captain.
Abilities
- Archive and weapon at once: whoever carries it carries both.
- It took part in discussions on the fate of humanity, where it “said it is a queen”.
- In an unlocated chamber it created a chessboard at the center, generating objects in space.
History
Caladan, a companion of an earlier gesta, carried it in a previous period. With the Seekers it came to have “something like an idea of family”; it is also called “the niece RAJ-750”. Its last recorded fate, before witnesses, was fusion with the demilich head of Malaquita, in which it “became more RAJ”.
Conflicting accounts
- Más Raj or Master Raj appears as supreme god of the elven pantheon (“Elven blood, known to be the essence of light”). One school reads the fusion (“more RAJ”) as an echo of that name; another holds they are unrelated homonyms. The word “Kankelsis” is also tied to the name, unexplained.
Open questions
- Which ship its data belongs to, and where it lies.
- Who the captain was, and how much of him remains.
- Whose niece it would be, and whether 750 marks a series.
- Whether the fusion embedded the gem in the head or transformed the intelligence.
- A date of “1750” for Caladan’s custody is unverified, possibly a confusion with the gem’s number.
