Minaya is a half-drow cleric-ranger of Eilistraee, son of Coyote the Silver and Zara, born in 1348 DR, who bore the goddess’s sword and returned from death as her Proxy.

History
He learned his past at the Dance of Knowledge (Marpenoth 6, 1368 DR).
- In Cormanthor, with Merith Strongbow and Asilther Graelor, he fights the Zhentarim and the Cult of the Dragon.
- Killed by hell hounds and a red dragon (Marpenoth 22), he rises to Ysgard, reborn as Proxy. Coyote sacrifices soul and body for him, becoming “paladin” of the Dark Queen.
- In the Contest he is arbiter with Jericó in the Foundations of Torregrises.
- At the Last Judgment, joined with Sol-Luna, he defeats Tiamat with the Gem of Creation on a Dragonlance.
- Via the Infinite Staircase and a Moon Gate he reaches Sigil, where Clarisa (II) seduces him and betrays him to the Cambions, sons of Graz’zt; Elisteo is born of this (1349 DR).
- The Cambions kill him, and Graz’zt seizes the sword, the goddess’s incarnation.
Other records
An early record named Minaya a Greater Power of the Elven Pantheon; the deity was Sol-Luna (see Minaya (Torregrises)). In Mirabilia’s zodiac he is a force of Aries, linked to Yelmalio. His opposite pole is “his father, and at the same time his son”.
