Michel is a Templar companion of the TE cycle, the first of the series of Templars: an alchemist and cleric who was the group’s healer, and who was cursed from the beginning.

Description
Michel heals in two ways: by priestly office, through the consecrated word, and by alchemy, through the transmutation of matter. Together the two arts made him the entire healing line of the Templars beneath the labyrinth of the Temple. The healing he carries demands the price his curse exacts.
History
- In the Battle of the Sanctuary he sustained the group’s healing under siege, amid suggestion-magic; the episode of his enchantment is Michel under Suggestion.
- On the Day of the False Master he moved from support to moral leadership: he consulted God, proposed waiting six days, and raised the skeleton of the Minotaur of the labyrinth.
- He estimated that the Blue Book would take twenty days just to begin reading.
- His sudden intuition uncovered the demonic line in the cosmological revelation of the Supra Father.
- Before the final operation against the Temple, he used the Mind’s Eye to gather intelligence on the preparations of the Temple and the King.
- On reaching Uchronic Paris he went dark at the entrance, captured by temporal forces — presumably the Guardian of Time revealed in the incursion into the astral plane, or by a demonic hand. He was carrying the Watch of Destiny (the stopping of time, true resurrection). His absence weakened the group’s understanding of Chronomon and of the Watch. Rescuing him became the goal of the following day: freeing him was the key to turning the Watch against the god of Time.
Powers and abilities
- Mind’s Eye: a meditation that conjures an invisible, flying sensor. He obtained it by studying texts of power, Nebuchadnezzar’s among them.
- Aura Sight: he sees the alignment of every creature present — angels in their luminous law, demons in their chaos.
