El Negro is an ambiguous entity, possibly a possessed time traveler, known only by that name. He first appears as an ally in the Omniporal Labyrinth and is later revealed to be possessed by a demonic entity.

Description
He has no proper name in the archive; Michel and the other companions call him “El Negro”. At first he seems a temporary guardian or facilitator in the labyrinth. Later he is revealed to be possessed by a demonic entity, presumably the hooded demon of zone 5, though this is not fully confirmed.
Demonic manifestation
His eyes glow an intense red-blue. He casts “Death Wail”, a death scream that sweeps all before it, and radiates a curse aura (a “bajometric” symbol) and “One Dies”, a deadly mark. In possession he is chaotic and evil.
True identity
He is an incarnation or direct servant of Paulus of Alexandria, the primordial time traveler (see True Identity). He pierced the heart of the Supra Father in the black cathedral, and he knows the secrets of time travelers, including how and where to skewer the heart for an eons-long torture.
Fate
He was exorcised in the central chamber of the labyrinth; the companions never learned whether his death was permanent. His disembodied, spectral manifestation pursued the group toward the central cube (see El Negro (Specter)). His final fate is unknown, and he may reappear in another form, through reincarnation or a new host.
