Description

It lies half a day to a day by road from the camp, where the roads cross, and is the only landmark shown in the region on the magic map. Set in Wallachia, Dracula’s country on the map, it is “dyed with ash” and called “the village of the ashes”; the whole region’s civilization ended. Earlier travelers have acquaintances there.

The mansion of the local madam, lady of Stejara, is “rotten in the style of The Fall of the House of Usher”. Dealing with her means offering help. No tolls or access rules are recorded.

Conflicting accounts

North lies Ardis Vala, where the great dragons nest, and from which many say the evil came.

  • One account: Stejara is the only village that stayed alive after the ashes.
  • Another: the evil of Ardis Vala destroyed Stejara and its civilization.
