Shibuya is a Japanese trans artist of 2087, a castaway of cyberspace who carries many personalities, became a healer, and spoke the word that brought the Internet down.
Description
He was once the sole inhabitant of an emptied New York. He spreads hope and the aphorisms of his book (“give with eyes closed and receive with eyes open”). Inside him live Kimi, Jequima, the matron, Araki and a masked kendo executioner; the guard twins who tortured him bounced off his thirty faces.
History
Drugged, raped and offered on camera by order of his own boss, he proclaimed that the show must stop. He adopted Mi Ciela, a newborn sent by the audiences, and took bullets for her. The Caramelo Flogger became the people of the Red Angel, and Shibuya inherited the fallen healer’s hands; he revived Masha and Kreider, who had sacrificed him.
At the end he opened his mind to the total network and found what the high programmers had encrypted in his district, the garden of paths: the word “Borges”. He spoke it, and the Internet fell for the first time in ten years. Trapped under the rubble of the sphere, a hand rose from it (“we have won”), and his Titans were freed. He said he had taught his people to doubt even themselves.
