Pamphlets, not missiles, fell on Kreider’s band at the forest edge: “wake up, sleep and survive”, “lose your fire”. Six or seven hunters in mail and gas masks waited with an armed golf caddy, golf clubs, shuriken, sabers and rifles stolen from the band.
The stars included American Ass, a one-eyed Frenchwoman with two swords, the Mexican of the stars, the brawling Indian, the fatalist Hindu woman. A neo-Nazi youth in medieval armor fell to Kreider. Shibuya cut them in a spiral; Zaa crawled under fire to knife a shooter. The band lost eight dead per two hunters killed. Kreider spared the surrendered — yakuza and dazed ex-neo-Nazis — who joined him.
