OPER is a program in 2087 that abducts young people and processes them like dolls for the “Lolita Option” market, under cover of the OPT, yellow-uniformed outbreak-prevention units with quarantine authority. Its pamphlets read “win a Lolita”.
Its seat is Villa Albalonga, beside the Fons Egeria, in the Conglomerate of the Healthy Forests. Forty motorcycle guards with machine guns, grenade launchers and swords protect it; under false-quarantine tents, abducted girls are stabilized, re-educated and prepared for sale.
The CEO and founder is Zíides, with Macoña as his only surviving vice. One of its masked operatives emptied a magazine at Shibuya without hitting him before falling, an episode the networks turned into a death poem. Kreider’s band learned that OPER wanted the orphan girls around Capecita; the punk girls of her retinue were already in its registry.
