The Path of Drakthar is the second major mission of La Jabalina (the Javelin) in the present cycle: a descent into the passages of Yathrebu, beneath Caldero, where the Shadowfell operative Drakthar had his base.

Background
Drakthar had been sowing chaos in Caldero through clandestine operations. The passages of Yathrebu were infested with darklings, creatures of the Shadowfell.
The mission
The group fought darklings and Skulks during the descent. Three events marked it:
- Teo’s arm. Teo lost an arm saving a companion. The loss definitively forged the group’s unity.
- Sila’s choice. The Shadowfell pole from which Sila’s bond derives tried to reclaim the monk during the descent. Sila had to choose between inherited darkness and loyalty to the group, chose the group, and the monk’s inner doctrine settled on that decision.
- The wider network. Clues showed that some nobles, and perhaps something more dangerous, profited from Drakthar’s chaos. The nobles named are Lord Valanthru and Tittiframe; the conspiracy continued in the Flood Season and the larger conspiracy of the cycle.
After Drakthar’s initial defeat the group went back underground (“flushing the partridge”, in Mascor Blancarba’s phrase in the Caldero Gazette), and the mission ended with the javelin sunk into a dirty coffin.
