The Unnameable (archive signature: OI) is one of the three members of the Triumvirate of the Supreme Ones, alongside Arian and Elías. His signature on the Triumvirate’s first act fixed the zero of the new calendar.

Nature
His name is never pronounced: he is always “the Unnameable”, with the article and without a proper name. His namelessness is a condition of his being, not a guarded secret; he is inscribed in the cosmic order by act, not by name.
The Stone of the Apocalypse is eternally bound to him and can be summoned across any barrier or distance.
History
The Anvil of Time
Before the Triumvirate he was trapped in the Anvil of Time, the astral plane that houses the consciousness of Kronamon in its incarnation as Paulus. There he shared imprisonment with Elías the Son, both frozen in their own era while centuries passed outside. The triad was conceived inside the Anvil between the two prisoners and completed outside it when Arian joined. The triad’s act replaced Paulus’s own designs for the Rod of Infinity.
The beginning of time
When the Triumvirate signed its acts with the Rod, at the Tribunal outside the universe, the first recorded act bears his signature:
“Marcar como comienzo del tiempo mismo el Momento después de la creación de todo lo que se haga con la vara.” (“To mark as the beginning of time itself the Moment after the creation of all that is made with the rod.“)
Nothing exists before his decree, and chronomantic magic cannot reach behind it. Other eons and cosmoi existed, but none before the act is recoverable.
The crystallized demiplane
He is the architect of the demiplane where the Triumvirate’s triumph crystallizes: the crystallized throne that is the arrest of an explosion, setting of the cosmic close. The dry crystallization works through him; what is crystallized no longer changes and operates outside time. The Triumvirate outside Time rests on his demiplane.
Across gestas
Before joining the Triumvirate he appears in several gestas (campaign-cycles) as Arian’s rival; the earlier rivalry is not cancelled by the later alliance.
The same cosmic body that acts as the Unnameable acts as the figure of the second circle in the Dante saga of the Ante-Inferno. That figure introduces itself as “a false prophet”, with a golden skull helmet of a crowned baby, a small axe, a black staff and a protected raven.
Venice
In the Venice arc at the close of Antiterra he reappears as the partner Elías swore millennia ago to free, his companion of the Anvil. Seated on the throne of the hall of the rope and dominated in that scene by Graz’zt, he proposes the alliance of the three stones, forming GEM (the Gems of Creation and Destruction) as a counter-entity to HADA, with the rope in view (“either you accept, or we find a third”). He is said to have been imprisoned ten years; he deceived the shadows and caused the fall of the Watcher.
