Description
Swedenborg has an air of celestial clarity and, through a woodsman’s power, can detect celestial auras in hell. Swedenborg contracted, as a second commitment, to seek the souls of warriors, tired of it, and was condemned to exile until finding an axe able to kill a primordial serpent. Swedenborg supposedly came from a kingdom.
Conflicting accounts
- The records use both feminine (“known”) and masculine (“condemned”) forms.
Open questions
- The kingdom, the axe and the serpent are not identified.
