The Witnesses / Freed Souls are several captive entities held in a cage inside a temple of the Descent. They belong to the Lost Ones: souls that have lost hope and are trapped in the infernal circles, residents of the Pit.
Their specific identities have not been revealed. Among them are named “Ruland”, el Jovencito (“the Youngster”) and dos cuerpos (“two bodies”). Freeing them required destroying the cage that confined them. In all, about five souls were returned to the light inside the Castle of the Prism.
Setting
- The Castle of the Prism is the fortress of the second circle and the place of the captivity.
- Minos, judge of the second circle, sentences souls before their confinement.
- Swedenborg is a guide of the Ante-Inferno whose mission is to conduct souls.
