Description
Four figures sit around a table: an old man with white hair and round glasses, resting his hands on closed fists; a young woman with dark chin-length hair, arms crossed, listening; a worker in a dirty apron smoking against the light; and a dandy in a bowler hat with a waxed mustache, watching from behind without fully taking part.
Open on the table: Die Freiheit, Die Aktion, Gegen Staat und Kapital, Solidarität, Gegen jede Autorität, Die Rose. On the wall, older posters: Es lebe die Anarchie, Nieder mit allen Grenzen, La Révolte. Through the window a dome can be seen that has not been identified.
Cigar smoke mixes with coffee steam under a low gas lamp. A faded yellow rose stands at the center of the table, left by the owner of the place so that visitors would not forget that premises have owners. The table anticipated decisions without signing them; those decisions belong to other entries.
