Torreluces is the twin city of Torregrises in the Dual Universe and its luminous reverse. The preliminary notes call it an “example of virtue and great heroes” that tries by various means to keep the tense system of the two opposed cities from tilting toward entropy, while Torregrises is the “bosom of corruption and vice”.
Its heroes need their shadows, the antiheroes of Torregrises, to cross the Foundations in their place so as not to violate the “dual law”. The city was born “on the 25th, the day of creation” (according to Paulus and Miranda).
