The Liosalfar, or light elves, are the first-born of the kingdom of the sun-king, heirs of the cathedral of sequoias and of the arts, games, magic and sword dance. In the war of the suns they defeated their dark brothers and forced them into underground exile, a “sad victory.”
Descendants
- Arian, the 25th sun, descends from their line.
- The mother of Celemna was a Liosalfar (“blood washes blood”).
Role
They are the luminous pole of the pair that structures the chronicle of El Elfo y la Sombra (The Elf and the Shadow): light against shadow, sun against extinct sun. The drow are their fallen reverse.
