Kaxathros is a high-ranking demon, arbiter and guardian in the Contest of the Multiuniverse. He destroyed the artificial heart of Arcoms Cosmar, ending the lich, and killed Coyote.

He is an arbiter and regulator of the Contest with Vladimir, Strat, Pentar and the Factor Setanta. With Coyote he guards the platform of Temptation; both can offer life to Maristo.
Description
“Humble, unctuous and dignified”: excavation contractor, merchant and maker of antiquities. He wears a tarbuk (red fez with a blue silk tassel); olive skin, hooked nose, bird-of-prey eyes, thick mustache; cinnamon jacket, white waistcoat, red belt, huge breeches.
Objects
- The lance that killed Coyote lies in the Treasure Room beside the globe of Antiterra, “the first that Graz’zt wanted”.
- A candle linked to him appears in the invocation of the Dark Queen and the Castle of Frome.
Kax Athros (Caldero)
In the La Jabalina saga, as “Kax Athros”, he is found inside the colossus of the White Huntress on the astral plane: an elf-tiefling with face paint, smoking, “not yet born in these new worlds”. He came there by an old pact with Graz’zt (“that the legs of no woman would close for him”), shelters from astral storms, knows the colored pools (interplanar portals) and mentions the Castle of the Prism.
Caxatros the Turk (CFA / CI)
In the final cycle of Antiterra:
- Lieutenant and right hand of Graz’zt (Graz’zt).
- Validator of the liberated Invisible Cities.
- Brought Graz’zt knowledge locked in a gem.
- Rebuilds Graz’zt’s fleet for the exodus of the Rapture.
- In Milan, as a counselor, host of Tustra (the other half of Zara-tustra), sown in him as an evolutionist parasite.
