The oasis
The episode the group’s records call “the oasis” is his clearest individual arc: a solitary journey through one of the oases of the Mesopotamian substrate of Vala. The oasis is both a place of pause and of danger, and a place of power on the world’s elemental map. Fire in its deep elemental form, related to the power mages call Kossuth, marks his experience there.
