Kossut (Kossuth), elemental lord of fire and tyrant of the Eternal Flame, is a major power of fire in the cosmology the archive inherits from the Forgotten Realms; he kept the body of Maristo as spoils of a failed council.

Description
Not a god of kindly altars: his cult is a discipline of purification by burning, and his throne does not negotiate.
History
In the Contest, the supra-divine council, the body of Maristo, paladin of the Eye (Helm), was left as Kossut’s spoils after a diplomatic encounter went wrong. The paladin later awoke in the foundations of Torregrises.
Relationships
Like Kronamon, primordial lord of Time who apportioned the cosmos’s temporal masses, Kossut belongs to the lineage of the first lords, powers older than the fine division of the pantheons, each tyrannizing its own matter. The two are paired, not merged.
