Midori is an exploration warrior of the first rank among the Wordbreakers, in the world of Vala.
History
Her presence runs through the major arcs of the cycle: the audience with the King of Midday, the pursuit of the Bogeyman, the assault on the Tower Ob Caligni and the arc of the Black Egg.
The lighthouse is her defining motif: a coastal lighthouse on the Atlantic shore of Vala, a counterpart of the great Lighthouse of Alexandria, recurs through her story. In the episode known as “Midori faro” she leaves the group and begins a solitary arc tied to that remote light.
She is lost in the void. A space contemplator (contemplador del espacio), a creature of the darkness between worlds, has stalked her since.

- Whether she left before the stalking was complete or was dragged away by it is not recorded.
