The Kaliyani are a renegade subrace of the Heqeti, four-eyed reptilian beings who split from the cult of Kauket millennia ago. They dwell in the Kaliyani Pits of the Ardis Vala Mega-Dungeon, below the Floor of the Great Chasm, and have just reappeared.

The Kaliyani of Ardis Vala are ruled by the Consortium Twelve (Consorcio Doce), an oligarchy of twelve sorcerer-leaders headed by Tsilliv; the other eleven are not named.
History
The Varumani recently found and killed a Kaliyani scout team sent by the sorcerer Rivvep, who leads exploration from the Pits toward the chasm floor (the Silent Canyon). Varboka, First Thegn, declared a public bounty of 100 gold pieces per Kaliyani fang.
Abilities
Four eyes give panoramic sight. Toxic, paralyzing skin, acid spit and amphibious movement are probable. Their leaders are sorcerers.
