The invitation
By the iris door appeared a projection from the opposite pillared hall, a languid three-fingered being, 2.10 m tall, in orange silky garb and boots, little red horns. In an ancient tongue, then theirs, it offered knowledge of the egg: The egg that will hatch not only frogs, but the first being and the last. I will await you in my temple of fundamental liquor. He invited them to a hatching (all are welcome to this new world).
Description
The guide, a kindly hunchbacked, one-eyed troll, is an exiled “hotelier” whose passport reads only carry egg. Inside: a fountain of pulsing purple ichor under a six-armed, sword-bearing statue of a Hindu-like “sea goddess” (Marilith); blood, organs, misshapen short-tentacled figures, bodies twisted like little shoes from the master’s gassing of the lab. Under the ichor lay the egg, count in view.
The religion
The fundamental liquor is the primordial slime (this level’s name for Nun), home of the terrible serpents and frogs of the beginning, the eight of the Ogdoad, Kauket among them, distinct from the Ennead of Thoth. This dangerous religion promises their return. A druid judged the frogs (the primordial Heqeti race; Kaliyani renegades) older than known nature yet of the source of life, and albino, as there was no sun yet.
Events
The party took the sanctuary, faced the statue come to guard the fountain, and fought the horned one amid dissection tables.

- If first and last hatch from one egg, does killing him prevent or only postpone anything?
