Terra is the twin and mirror world of Antiterra, a world without magic, once the kingdom of God, that exploded and now falls toward the Band of Dissolution. The records call it «Mundus alter et idem» (“a world other and the same”).

Description
Terra has no magic: “people make, like, Coca-Cola”. Its surface is defined by war and “black smoke”. It is reached through an entry point from Antiterra, and has been seen as “a crystallized zone”, seat of the cosmic duality.
Geography and history
Its history (crusades, a world war, imperialism) runs parallel to ours, out of phase. Recorded places: a seminary for gifted children in Santa Fe, run by Mr. Norton in Terra’s 1930–1940; California, where the Regulators operated; Mexico in revolution; the Philippines, taken from Spain by the United States; a London law school where Gandhi studies. History reaches 1910 (“910, to be exact”), with a nine-year lag. Two figures once shared government. A Terra Tetractita, tied to dimensional matters, is also mentioned.
The hell of Terra
Terra’s hell “is at the center of the Earth”: a descending, cone-shaped cavern with rivers and Caina, with several entrances, replicating Dante’s nine circles. “Everything is made in layers”: Dante’s hell of 1300, the time of 1900. It “is more connected to its own primary” than other known hells.
The explosion and the fall
“It was Terra that suddenly one day exploded”, not Antiterra that shifted. Asmodeus, Arian and God himself took part in that conflict. Off its axis, Terra now falls toward the Band of Dissolution, “because someone is pushing it”. From outside it appears as “the red sun of Terra’s explosion approaching like a comet”.
Spirit
Its spirit is called “Angel”, “the spirit of the Earth”, though both “Angel” and “Demon” are rejected as proper names.
Conflicting accounts
- “Bátor may be made in the image and likeness of Terra’s hell, or the other way around.”
- As a hypothesis only, God may have been shut in the Apocalypse in Terra rather than in Antiterra.
Open questions
- What happened among Asmodeus, Arian and God, and who is pushing Terra?
- Is the black smoke atmosphere, residue of the explosion, or an entity?
- The entry point opens on 1300, history reaches 1910, the seminary is in 1930–1940: one line, layers, or different doors?
- Are destroyed and inhabited Terra one world at different moments, or coexisting states?
