Sir More is a demon-corrupted paladin of York and member of the Company of David who, seduced by the succubus Lubina, killed his own daughter for demonic power.
History
In Lords of York, possessed by a demon, he sacrificed his daughter, faking a bear attack; Egas later learned the truth. His love stopped him from killing her too. He fled Monkchester, cowing the mob, to Lubina’s camp near York.
Shen tracked him by smell for a hunting party of Egas, Lagu, Brother Demian, Dolores wielding Excalibur, Shen and Mayor David. Celestial light (from Lugh, or angels) broke Lubina’s spell, briefly showing a nobler past in him. Kneeling before Egas he said: “I think I am not lost yet.” The Archbishop of York exorcised him with Excalibur, but the evil “did not take long to return”.
He bore Excalibur by accident, not destiny. The blood of Lagu’s daughter ties his magical control to an earlier victimizer. Dolores thinks he “is lost”; David likes his psychopathic side.
