Description
He is in a pitiful state, a victim of Lubina, the succubus who controls More.
In Lords of York, Shen is “the Commoner”, representative of the peasants. He looks “somewhat sinister” and has a superhuman sense of smell: he tracks More with his nose in the snow. What he spits kills vegetation. He weeps on seeing Monkchester destroyed, since its fields were “what he had loved most in his life”. He is also described as a jester at court who won over Selina with tricks and produced a “brave distraction” against the dragon.
