King Weskenim’s Goblins are the most numerous goblin faction of the Ardis Vala Mega-Dungeon: fertile, expansive and prone to territorial conflict, ruled from the Goblin Warrens beneath the Forum of Set by King Weskenim, whom his subjects call Grand King.
| Type | Faction |
| Seat | Goblin Warrens |
| Ruler | King Weskenim |
| Allies | Kerbog Khan |
| Enemies | Halflings of Plumthorn |
| Spanish entry | Goblins de Rey Weskenim |
Description
The king is shown crowned atop the heap, shrunken and old, above a tide of goblins filling a cavern; two goblins pour green acid into a cauldron, and a metal dragonfly with gauze wings hovers over the king’s head.
Territory and structure
- Seat: the Goblin Warrens.
- Footholds: the Halls of Thoth, on the border with the Plumthorn halflings; the Obsidian Gates on the upper Midnight Road, where the sub-chief Killik is “big boss of the wet caves”.
- Sub-chiefs of hobgoblin size and ferocity; emissaries who visit other factions, such as the Forum of Set.
Relationships
- Ally: Kerbog Khan, who supplies dragonfly automatons in exchange for goblin labor and acid. This makes them the only “traditionally humanoid” faction of the dungeon integrated with Rudishva technology.
- Active hostility: Halflings of Plumthorn, over the entrance to the Halls of Thoth.
- Tension: the Beastmen of the central Halls of Thoth.
Role
Not the most powerful faction, but they multiply fast. They actively seek allies and offer alliance to the Seekers if they promise help against the halflings.
