Bayrum Quar’amon Cristalia is a part-drow priest of Thoth and sorcerer, a member of the group in the gesta of Ardis Vala (Arden Vul), and son of a pepper merchant of the River Ucronos.

Name and origin
Bayrum is his given name; Quar’amon is probably a drow form (also Quarven); Cristalia a surname or house. The River Ucronos is associated with the flow of time and with Eilidh and crystalline vestiges.
Office and abilities
A priest/mage hybrid, he hastens his companions, multiplies his image in mirages and lifts curses. The group knows him by function, “the priest of Thoth”, more than by name.
Politics
He leans toward the Sortians (magical democracy), who hold that “the magic spark must be trained in anyone who has it, regardless of origin”, but has not formally declared himself a member.
Role
With Alúmine and Caladan he forms the group’s arcane core, providing magical support.
