Agatha is the daughter of Amitlai and the Lord of the Cats, a fast-growing heroine of the Beastlands who helped save that plane and later became a monster hunter in the Forgotten Realms. She has, or will have, the role of a Guardian.
History
The Lord of the Cats bit Amitlai and “placed his seed in her womb”, and gave her his Ring. Agatha was born first; Dou-Frome six months later. She grew at a “very accelerated pace”, looking five while still a baby.
- Encounter with the Father. Amitlai took her to Sigil to meet her father. Frome followed and fought him; a LeShay (Guardian) claimed the Lady’s objects, and the three joined to defeat it. Frome gave his life and was revived.
- The Beastlands. With her father she sought felines trapped in Baator, met the Crippled Ones and Hannok, and learned of her father’s death.
- Exile of Brux. The self-proclaimed Lady of the Cats (the Gaturra) set a three-headed feline on Amitlai; mother and daughter were exiled. In Frome’s care Agatha met and freed Auro.
- The Egg and the Claw (Greek Thebes). Investigating the Fan with Auro, she met a group whose leader claimed to be “son of Paulus”. Auro seized the Claw and was dominated by the Egg. A red dragon killed Agatha; Amitlai killed it and revived her.
- Salvation of the Beastlands. She corrected the modrons’ path after they polluted Krigala, met the prince of the Avariel, was lured by a lamia to a temple of Graz’zt in the “Desert of Egypt” (Amitlai razed it), learned from the Wemics the name of Mortai, Spirit of the Winds, and cleansed the waters.
- The Vile Hunt and Carceri. With the mercykiller Blandermul she was captured and thrown into Carceri, where she “spoke” with the Beast, the panther-shaped hunting god that consumed the Lord of the Cats, and escaped.
- War of the Beastlands. When the Gaturra declared war, Agatha, with the Tabaxi Meurona and Blandermul, faced her father three times in dreams at Signpost (Dreamhearth), invoked Mortai by name and woke the One. The Gaturra fled; all recognized Agatha’s part in saving the plane.
- Post-war. She hunted those responsible, tracked vampire werewolves to Waterdeep, met Corina Lathankin and faced the Blood Baron.
