History
- He gave Amitlai his Ring, an object of power that saved Amitlai several times.
- He died in circumstances that are not entirely clear (see Calendar).
- His spirit was consumed by the Beast (Malar, god of the hunt in panther form) and remained trapped in a nightmare in Signpost (Dreamhearth, house of the Signers).
- Agatha awakened him by confronting him three times in dreams. After he awakened, the Gaturra, a usurper who had proclaimed herself Lady of the Cats after his death, was defeated.
- Agatha is the daughter of the Lord of the Cats and Amitlai.
A plate shows him seated on a rock at dusk, the size of a horse, with the stillness of a king in exile. Lions, lynxes, panthers and cats of every species sit around him in concentric circles, and the gold ring is on his front paw. Above, among the treetops, an enormous face looks down at him: a debt that will one day be collected.
