History
Their station lies at the end of a tunnel from Kreider’s stronghold; since the missile-strike night it has been the band’s refuge.
When the train reached the old amusement park, they made the Wheel of Fortune a base, cathedral included. Their sword-and-armor heroine, Miss Kremlin, warned of the producers’ show. They supplied weapons, healing, explosives, technology and the train itself, and sheltered the band for two months in a recaptured half-Japanese, half-American town while the gravity train was forged.
At the last supper they beheaded the cloned emissary. The Dark Queen’s nuclear missile, triangulated onto them by the rescued girl, was diverted by Taito, who sacrificed himself dragging it through the Gate.
