Nature
The long form of the name is Egyptian; daily use shortens it to Tii or Ti. She is not the whole entity, which does not fit in a human body, but one of its bodies. She wears formal black mourning, with a face both young and mature. She keeps the mother’s millennial patience, her old hunger, the memory of the first Chaos, the ability to appear as widow, queen or mother according to the place, and at least one of the five faces, shown when she manifests undisguised.
History
Waterdeep
In Waterdeep, in the Forgotten Realms, she posed as a beautiful widow in black with a small fortune the merchant houses accepted without inquiry, served by a modest court of loyal retainers. She plotted from the shadows, knowing the houses and their pending marriages.
She sought formal marriage with Coyote, the general of the void; one reading takes it as an attempt at redemption. The ceremony was interrupted by the Lord of the Shroud and the lady Zara, and the union was not consummated. Coyote later became a vampire; Tii “wished him far away”, and the distance between them grew. A later account says she broke from Takhisis for Coyote.
The Patriarch
The Patriarch, highest head of the Church, died at her hands, on an unrecorded date. The surviving formula: «Lo desayunó» (“She had him for breakfast”).
Egypt
Around 1401 D.R. Tii left the cult of the Dark Queen — ceasing to be her outside servant to become one fully from within — and took power in Egypt with a consort named Ai, her second formal marriage, this time uninterrupted. In the arc of the Egyptian court led by Amitlai she appears as the antagonist “Queen Mother”, a tutelary rather than active presence.
Andgara
In the past of Andgara, a group of companions descended in time, confronted her on her own cosmological ground and forced her to flee.
Ur-Draxa and the Stone
Tii holds the Stone of the Apocalypse in Ur-Draxa under a contract with the Horsemen of the Apocalypse; handing it over is paid for with the city. When Gideon stole the Stone from her castle, she disintegrated him — one of the paladin’s deaths. In her aspect Ti, a one-headed black dragon bearing all colors, she guards the Stone aboard the flying city that sails up the Styx toward the Horsemen’s castle; the Stone is finally stolen from “Tii’s flying castle”. In Events of Antiterra, Gideon takes on delivering the Stone instead of Tii, then breaks the contract.
