José López Rega, called “Lopecito” and later “the Sorcerer” (el Brujo), is a real figure of Argentine history who rose from police corporal to Perón’s secretary in Madrid; the 1966 chronicle of the islands only mentions him.

History
In the rumors of 1966 around the flight diverted to the Malvinas, he appears as “Lopecito”, a corporal of the guard climbing with unsettling patience. He worked his way into exiled Peronism and became Perón’s secretary at the Puerta de Hierro estate in Madrid, close to Isabel, controlling who entered the leader’s office. He came from the Anael Lodge, which he joined around 1963, and in July 1966 he traveled with Isabel to Madrid.
The office
The gesta (campaign-cycle) meets him once, in a dream. On the night at the Claromecó Lighthouse, the dream of the two suns takes Rómulo to an office dated 1975: the Sorcerer’s office. There a commissioner whose shadow does not match his body asks him for his companions’ names and teaches him a spell. It is the only place in the archive where the Triple A already exists.
Role
He is the seed of the Triple A, the Argentine Anticommunist Alliance, whose state terror the dream descent beneath the Malvinas anticipates by almost a decade.
