Aluc is a vampire of Buenas Sangres embraced without his sire presenting him to the Camarilla, and so an illegal at court. The press reported him dead years earlier; the southern legend of the “black angel” grew around that death.

Description

He was left not knowing what had happened — light became unbearable, a new hunger took him — with no one to answer for him. He remembers his origin in fragments: deaths, drugs, Italy, Córdoba and his sister Claudia, whose apparitions may be memory, dream or visit.

History

  • The frenzy. During a police raid on punk shows at a school in Lanús, he frenzied before about a hundred people, tore off a policeman’s hand and drank from him, breaking the Masquerade. Sheriff Lavín shot him in the chest, staked him and took him to trial at the court of López Rega. He was held in a dome with skylights.
  • Santa Felicitas. Back in the coterie of the Colón basement, he made the occupied church of Santa Felicitas in Barracas a permanent assembly for the anarchists. There Claudia appeared in the broken organ and sang with him.
  • The exodus. When the blood hunt fell, he turned Carmen’s flight into an exodus: Rosario, Córdoba, the Uritorco. With Lilith he spent two years underground in Erks, building a community of vampires and hippies.
  • The scepter (1991). To overthrow the old prince the band needed the scepter driven into the chest of the thing beneath Erks, which demanded human food. They intercepted a bus with twenty-nine children and led them down through the caverns while Aluc beat a drum. The entity ate almost all of them and made one girl pull out the scepter. Aluc carried her out on his back with the scepter. At the close he holds it, wounded and indelibly stained.
